Music, What makes you happy?

Commentary

When music becomes your focus in the crazy world!

Ok my gaming friend just texted me, “Can we play Pandemic next time we game? Oh wait, we’re playing it now.”

Yes the world has suddenly become a crazy place and for some of us the only calming effect is hunting down music whether that be old music or new music. Music gets us part the crazy and the past the stress we are currently in the middle of. This is for some of us the biggest saving grace.

YouTube is getting a surge of life again as we are looking for things to take our mind of daily events but it’s also a way to connect with other people who are stuck in place.

We start this round of music designed to make you feel…….

On to music with a different feel

Lets change our feelings once more

So what makes you laugh, makes you cry and makes you love and makes you dance is something that will lift your heart in these uncertain and crazy times. Remember that music will set you free and make you whole.

Busy summer, already fall. The music continues on.

Some many new albums and so many good songs it hard to know where to start.

It’s no secret that I love Shinedown and I’m very happy with the latest album and the videos are good as well. I also like things that aren’t heavy, hard and metal.

I do love things like Andre Bocelli and things like that so I found this one of those videos that I enjoyed very much with Ed Sheeran

Here are some other great videos.

Goodbye 2016, Oh hell 2017

We lost a lot of great people last year. It’s been tough processing those who died before their time.

Sorry for not putting more out last year. Listen to a number of new albums and will talk about them later on, but right now I want to talk about Green Day.

I have watched them change and grow over the years and have been impressed with what they have said of late and what they yell out loud.

Here is a look back at Green Day and good luck to them in the future.

Looking forward to many more years of their music.

Goodbye to the Legends.

Two greats have passed recently and I thought I would post these memorable moments.

Lemmy Kilmister

David Bowie

New Albums, Rob Thomas & Shinedown

GreatunknownThe Great Unknown, the latest from Rob Thomas. This album is very fast paced and gets you going. Loved the content and the lyrics and enjoyed where the songs took me mentally. Check it out.

Here are three samples from the album.

threattosurvivalShinedown never fails to please. This new album is just another in a long line of great albums for them. All full of visuals that make you think and feel every word of the lyrics.

Here is some examples from this album.

Enjoy the Music!

Songwriters and Spotify.

musicA number of things are out of wack in the music industry. One of those things has to do with songwriters. Aloe Blacc’s article in WIRED, check it out. As part of the discussion I understand that Taylor Swift removed herself from Spotify. I must say that is a bold move and I hope others follow here lead on this. If you don’t know about Spotify here is an article on WIRED! and one from the New Yorker.
